Our story

Why Cohira exists.

Cohira began in the research groups of Al-Azhar University, where its founder learned the craft the hard way, coordinating meta-analysis teams, running the statistics himself, and defending the results in front of reviewers. Sixty publications later, the pattern was clear: clinicians across Egypt and the Gulf had strong questions and no time, no data access, and no methods support.

The options they were offered were poor. Language editors polished prose but could not design a study. Brokers sold authorship and put careers at risk. Cohira was built as the third option: a team of physician researchers who do the methods with you, the protocol, the code, the draft, the reviewer responses, and keeps you the author.

One partner from the first question to the accepted paper, with nothing hidden and nothing bought.

Who we are

Promotion runs on publications. We help you earn them.

Publications decide promotion, and the work that gets published, sound design, defensible statistics, a clear manuscript, sits outside most clinical training. Cohira is the third option between editors who only polish and brokers who sell authorship.

The third option

Editors polish language, they cannot design your study or run your analysis.

Brokers sell authorship, inviting retraction and reputational ruin.

Cohira does real methods, with you, and you stay the author.

Who we work with

Built for the clinician who has the idea, not the time.

Faculty who need publications

For promotion, grants, or accreditation, with no time to run studies themselves.

Clinicians with strong ideas

And no access to data, statistics support, or methods expertise.

Trainees publishing for the first time

Master's and MD candidates who need one paper soon, with mentoring built in.

Groups with a stalled dataset

Or a rejected manuscript that deserves a rigorous reanalysis and a second attempt.

Authors & institutions

Who want a rigorous technical partner for analysis, modelling, synthesis, or reviewer responses, one stage or all of them.

You do not need to arrive with a research question

Tell us your clinical area and we will propose several feasible ideas, each with the data source, the design, and the likely target journal, so you can pick the one worth your time.

How we partner

We do the methods with you

Never instead of you.

You see the design choices, the analysis, and the manuscript as it takes shape, and you stay the author at every step.

Our standard

Published the right way, or not at all.

We work within ICMJE authorship criteria and never ghostwrite. You define the question and approve every stage; contribution and acknowledgement are agreed before work begins.

  • Authorship that meets ICMJE criteria
  • No ghostwriting for absent authors
  • No sold or gifted bylines
  • No bought acceptance, our Acceptance Guarantee is a contract to keep working, never a shortcut around peer review
  • Transparent methods and honest limitations
  • An originality and citation-integrity check before every submission

The team

Ten published researchers. Not one freelancer.

Every Cohira researcher has at least three years of research experience, 50 or more peer-reviewed publications, and 110 or more citations. Each study has a named lead researcher and a second reviewer who checks the analysis and reads the manuscript the way a referee would.

The founder

Dr. Mohamed Hamouda Elkasaby

A physician researcher (MD, Al-Azhar University, Cairo) in cardiovascular outcomes and large-database epidemiology, with 60+ peer-reviewed publications, 180+ citations, and editorial and peer-reviewer roles. He now takes on research projects for other authors, one stage, or the whole journey from idea to publication.

His methods span database studies (TriNetX, NIS, GBD, SEER, UK Biobank), machine-learning prediction models, and evidence synthesis, in R, Stata, SPSS, and Python.

Currently a Scholar in Cardiology at SUNY. University at Buffalo, NY, USA; previously coordinated research teams at the Medical Research Group of Egypt and co-instructed clinical-research courses.

The same person who advises you has designed the study, run the analysis, and defended it under review.
